Oxford rolls past Rochester 42-0 on homecoming night

Five different players found the end zone as Oxford shut out Rochester 42-0 on homecoming night to move to 4-0.

Oxford turned its homecoming night into a rout, shutting out Rochester 42-0 on Friday, Sept. 18, to improve to 4-0, according to the Oxford Leader.

The Wildcats spread the scoring around. Preston Wilder, Keedan Pociask and Greyson Boyle each found the end zone, quarterback Michael King scored, and Chris Pullman reached the end zone both rushing and receiving.

A night for the community

At halftime, Aidan Ryan was crowned homecoming king and Payton Canham was crowned homecoming queen, the Oxford Leader reported.

The Wildcats also carried a TM42 flag honoring Tate Myre.

What's next

Oxford, now 4-0, visits Clarkston on Friday, Sept. 25, in a matchup of OAA Red unbeatens.

The Wildcats then play Rochester Adams on Friday, Oct. 2, and travel to West Bloomfield on Friday, Oct. 9. Their Week 8 opponent is to be announced, and they close the regular season at home against Romeo on Friday, Oct. 23.

The MHSAA will reveal playoff pairings on Selection Sunday, Oct. 25, with district games running Oct. 30 through Nov. 7.
