Madison can clinch MAC Bronze outright Friday against Clawson
Madison, 5-1 and No. 6 in AP Division 8, hosts Clawson on Friday with a chance to win the MAC Bronze outright. Here's the Eagles' final three games.

Madison's football team has a league title within reach this week. The Eagles, 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the MAC Bronze, host Clawson at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, and a win would clinch the Bronze title outright.
Madison is ranked No. 6 in the Associated Press Division 8 poll and has won its last two games by a combined 100-28. The Eagles beat Eastpointe 60-12 on Oct. 2 after topping New Haven 40-16 on Sept. 25, according to Oakland Press scoreboards.
Bronze title on the line
Clawson arrives at 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the MAC Bronze, receiving votes in the AP Division 6 poll. The Trojans beat Warren Lincoln 14-6 last week and Eastpointe 52-14 the week before. Clawson coming in one game back in the standings puts the Bronze title on the line Friday.
The road ahead
After Friday, Madison closes with two road games. The Eagles visit St. Clair Shores South Lake on Oct. 16 before a regular-season finale at Ecorse on Oct. 23. Ecorse is 6-0 and ranked No. 6 in AP Division 6.
