Berkley visits Avondale as Bears chase a five-win finish
The 2-4 Bears travel to Avondale on Friday, then host Senior Night on Oct. 16 before closing at Troy Athens.

Berkley's football team enters the final three weeks of the regular season at 2-4 overall and 2-2 in the OAA Gold, and can finish with no more than five wins.
The Bears open that stretch on the road Friday, Oct. 9, at Avondale, which sits second in the OAA Gold at 3-1 in league play and 3-3 overall.
Recent results
Berkley lost 35-23 at Royal Oak on Friday, Oct. 2. Royal Oak quarterback Asher Dean threw for 288 yards and Braylen Banks had 178 receiving yards in that game, according to the Oakland Press.
The week before, the Bears beat Waterford Kettering 28-7 on Sept. 25.
Senior Night
Berkley's Oct. 16 game is a home game and Senior Night. The opponent has not been set on MaxPreps; the school lists the matchup as "vs Bloomfield or Troy." The Week 8 opponent has not been announced.
The regular season ends Friday, Oct. 23, at Troy Athens.
